Support > Email
An email client is a program used to access an email account. Popular email clients include Microsoft Outlook and Mozilla Thunderbird.
While the exact method to set up new email accounts differs from client to client, each uses the same common setup details. Typically, you'll need to supply the following details:
- Email Address
- Incoming Mail Server
- POP3 account type
- Please set "remove from server" to "immediately" or settings to that effect otherwise you'll run out of disk space allocated
- Username
- Password
- Outgoing mail server
When your account has been provisioned, we'll send a copy of these details through to you.
We recommend the following instructional guides for setting up common email clients:
Outlook 2003: Add or remove an e-mail account
Outlook 2007: Add and manually configure a POP3, IMAP, or HTTP e-mail account
Outlook Express: Set Up an Outlook Express E-Mail Account
