RED required a new site which would integrate with their back-end systems so that the website could take delivery orders as well as parcel sticker orders and reduce overheads for staff and make it easier for customers to place orders. With the advent of this, a new design was created to reflect these new offerings. The system uses .Net technologies as RED's systems are all Microsoft Windows based. We were then able to tap into the existing infrastructure and systems and replicate what would normally be entered via a staff member over the phone, but through the use of web forms.

Email notifications would then be sent to the staff to notify them of new orders which are then be dispatched to RED's courier staff.

The outcome of the project is RED managed to integrate new processes with existing infrastructure which improved the efficiency of the administration of processing orders as well as making it more time-effective for customers to place orders. A win-win situation.
