Healthy Rivers Australia was introduced to us via Ecocreative. Like many organisations of their size, they needed a simple to use content management system (CMS) so they could update the content within their site simply and quickly.
Healthy Rivers are a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the preservation and improvement of Australia's rivers and waterways. As part of this, they seek sponsorship, Government grants and donations.
Iugo developed an online donation system which allows for the general public to donate money via the website, or in other circumstances, donate water licenses.
The donation of money provides a system where the person:
- donates money via an online form and e-commerce transaction and a chosen amount is deducted from their credit card of choice
- a dynamic PDF certificate outlining their details and their contribution is encapsulated by a branded Healthy Rivers background which can be printed and framed
- a tax invoice for tax deduction purposes is sent to the person via email
Other aspects of the site that Iugo have developed are:
- content management system (CMS) used was Recite CMS
- improved search engine optimisation (SEO) via using W3C standards, descriptive URLs, use of text in navigation and so-on
- contact forms
- subscription to e-newsletters
- hosting, domain names and email
