Extranets are becoming increasingly essential to the running of many businesses who deal with suppliers, vendors, other businesses or those businesses who have geographically separate office locations.

An extranet provides a simple way of being able to share information, similar to that of an intranet, but for information that is not so business-centric. This can include, but not limited to:

  • sharing of marketing material, such as
    • product imagery
    • technical data
    • wholesale and RRP pricing information
  • ability to collaborate with other businesses
  • sharing information, such as news and alike with other like-minded companies
